Multiple Choice
by David Shillinglaw

Artist David Shillinglaw is to exhibit his latest collection of work entitled ‘Multiple Choice’ at the Nancy Victor Gallery, Charlotte Street, London from 3 August to 8 September 2006.
This new solo exhibition, following on from an exhibition at the Oxo Tower, will consist of drawings, paintings, books and objects.
Speaking about his latest exhibition, David said; ‘ I love to embrace accidents and mistakes in my work. I then pull them all together – a bit like a journal.’
Through his work, David develops a range of symbols that he uses with found objects to create discordant images. He displaces objects and motifs to find new meanings to his environment.
From Monday July 24 to Friday July 28 David will be producing an installation inside the Nancy Victor Gallery which will form part of his ‘Multiple Choice’ exhibition.
